PDD STD is going to be worthless!
- On 24-10-2016, first time the inhabitants have approached PDD STD Udhampur and after that they kept approaching but of no use.

Jammu, Jun 20: The issue of shifting of 33 KV DC line at Jhajjar Kotli is going to be complicated and a sort of alienation has been developed as the department has failed utterly to execute the work for which the contract has been already awarded on 30-12-2021.
The inhabitants of Jhajjar Kotli have approached almost all the offices which they have guessed proper in this issue but they did not get any relief from any office. On 24-10-2016 they have first approached the office of concerned Executive Engineer PDD STD office Udhampur and narrated their woes so that they may get some relief but nothing has been done to them. If we calculate in days if I am not mistaken 2413 days have passed and one can write in this way that 6 years, 7 months and 28 days have passed,
After 24-10-2016 they have ten more offices subsequently to get the relief in the issue but every time they got disappointment, which has further alleviated their woes and the fear of life is hanging on their head like hanging of sword. There are more than 30 families, which are living under high risk of life and any mishappening can happen and it can further cause chaos and law & order problem if the PDD department may not come out from the deep slumber and callousness.
The present alignment of 33 KV DC line is passing through in the middle of dense populated areas having stretch of abput two kilometres from 132.33 KV Grid Station Jhajjar Kotli to Salora in which in which around thirty houses are situated around/nearby the present alignment of 33 KV DC line from grid station to Jhajjar Kotli to Salora. The lackadaisical and complacent attitude of the part of PDD STD officers of Udhampur as well as the contractor have put at risk the life of more than thirty families residing nearby 33 KV DC line.
