Two non-concerning officials are managing GeM in Govt Polytechnic Jammu
*All such loot is going on that too with the approval of Principal and he is mute spectator and approver.
*It is the turn of ACB to make a good entry in the Government Polytechnic Jammu to clear the muck.
*One official of workshop has abjured the workshop and engaged himself in GeM activities.
*Other official is not lagging behind as he too decided to kept abeyance of computer teaching job and opted for GeM operations, reasons are crystal clear.
Jammu, Feb 19:
Two officials are cunningly but indirectly involved in trading business and they are so smart & skilled that they are doing the things very systematically, so that no one can doubt on them. All these illegally activities are going on in the Government Polytechnic Jammu that too not only under the nose of Principal but everything is in his knowledge and with his approval.
One official is working in workshop but he is much inclined to GeM (Government e-Marketplace) and always concerned about GeM. He is holding the charge of workshop but he is managing the GeM as the reports said that he is having the ID and password of the GeM of Government Polytechnic Jammu. He has to deal with various shops where they have to train students various skills including welding, carpentry, forging etc. It seems that he has abjured the workshop activities and adopted the GeM activities.
It is irony that he has been posted to guide the students about the workshop related activities but he has no interest in his job for which he has been paid handsome salary. The said person is expert not in his job but in operation of GeM and trading activities. The Government Polytechnic Jammu has to purchase several items but this person is playing a role of mediator and he manages in such manner which suits to him.
The other character is also there who is too a player in this looting game. He is a Computer/IT expert in Government Polytechnic Jammu and on a good post. He has to teach the students about the Computer and its other applications but he is much concerned about GeM purchasing. He has kept abeyance the teaching process and accepted the GeM purchasing activities.
Everything is in disorder manner and needs to be investigated properly with a purpose then one will see that there are several skeletons hiding in the cupboard of Government Polytechnic Jammu and the keep of cupboard is in the hands of principal and others.
The reports further revealed that mostly items are being purchased by some particular firms for last 7 years nealr about and the credential of these firms must be investigated thoroughly. Who are their proprietors? Are the proprietors having some relations and links with staff members? These should be investigated and properly checked.
It is also million dollars question that who is accessing the GeM in Government Polytechnic Jammu. Whether he is illegible to access or not? The system has to be revamped.
There are reports that purchase of a small brush of a particular trade to costly equipment’s of various departments is posing question marks on the system.
Now, let me tell you that they have purchased the masks and that is available in open market at the rate of Rs 0.80 (80 paisa) but they have purchased it for Rs 2.99 and see the big loot in this prestigious institution of Jammu & Kashmir. The Principal is the person who approves all this purchase and this is happening in Government Polytechnic Jammu.
Now the issue is that it is right time for entry of ACB in such circumstances to investigate all wrong doings in the prestigious Government Polytechnic Jammu and to save the institution from the hands of looters.
There are much beans to spill and I will do till the last bean comes to my hands. In this institution, here is much muck and garbage, and I am committed to clean.
