Vikram is on mission!
- Within period of two months, SHO Vikram Sharma has rescued 175 bovines and registered 25 FIRs; besides 2 quintal 32 kilograms Poppy Straw and 10 grams Heroin recovered 8 NDPS FIR registered.

Jammu, June 30: Continuing its drive against drug trafficking and substance abuse, Jammu Police achieved major success by recovering 04 kilograms 100 grams of poppy straw from one accused at naka point in the jurisdiction of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli which was set up as a security measure ahead of Shri Amar Nath Ji Yatra.
An agile police team of Police Station Jhajjar Kotli constituted under the supervision of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar and led by SHO PS Jhajjar Kotli Inspr Vikram Sharma while on naka duty rounded up one suspect who was coming from Srinagar towards Jammu. On search, 04 kilograms 100 grams of Poppy straw recovered from him in his Truck bearing registration number JK02CS-3387.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 165/2022 U/S 8/15/25 NDPS Act got registered in Police Station Jhajjar Kotli and accused got arrested. The accused arrested was later identified as Mohd.Saleem S/O Mohd.Rafiq R/O BhatidharTehsil Mendhar District Poonch.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
