Jai Maa Surbhi Gaushala Trust Reconstituted; Atul Sudan Elected President

Akhnoor, October 20: Following the completion of its three-year tenure, the Jai Maa Surbhi Gaushala Trust has reconstituted its new team, with Atul Sudan unanimously elected as President by the members of the Trust.

The newly constituted team includes Rabia Khajuria as General Secretary, Gaurav Sharma as Vice President, Sham Magotra as Joint Secretary, and Karn Sharma as Treasurer.

During the meeting, outgoing President Anav Langar presented a detailed account of the Trust’s activities and achievements over the past three years. He highlighted the remarkable progress made by the Gaushala, which began its journey with limited resources and has now developed adequate sheds, healthcare arrangements, feeding facilities and other essential amenities for 147 bovines.

He attributed this progress to the collective efforts of the Trust members and the wholehearted support of the people of Akhnoor. Chairman Rajinder Singh Pawar also highlighted the major initiatives undertaken during the previous tenure and expressed gratitude to the outgoing team for its contribution to the welfare of the Gaushala.

Addressing the gathering after his election, Atul Sudan thanked all the members for entrusting him with the responsibility, describing it as a significant commitment towards the welfare of bovines and the community.

He outlined his priorities for the coming years, including securing additional land for the Gaushala, constructing new sheds, developing sustainable sources of income, expanding public participation and pursuing adequate government assistance. He also assured that efforts would be made to further improve healthcare, maintenance, feeding arrangements and other facilities for the bovines.

Emphasising the importance of community participation, Sudan said that the Gaushala belonged to the people and could progress only through their collective support. He announced plans to visit villages and interact with residents to seek their suggestions, encourage donations and strengthen public involvement in its activities.

He expressed his commitment to making the Gaushala more self-reliant while ensuring better care and welfare for every bovine housed there.

Mahant Parmeshwar Das Ji, Vikrant Baral, Bobby Sharma, Sushil Sharma, Sandeep Singh, Sat Pal, Vinay Sharma, Rajan Bairagi and Jyoti Prakash were among those present on the occasion.
