The police attached the property of a notorious drug peddler, Bilal Ahmad, under Section 68-F of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, a bold move that underscores their commitment to not only curbing drug trafficking but also targeting the financial infrastructure supporting these criminal enterprises.

Shockingly, it was also discovered that Ahmad had no legitimate source of income, relying solely on his illicit drug trade for financial gains. The accused is currently incarcerated in District Jail Bhaderwah, where he faces charges for his extensive drug trafficking activities.
Further investigation revealed a shocking and alarming fact: Ahmad had used the proceeds from his illegal drug dealings to acquire a substantial residential property. The property, located under Survey No. 797 min, is valued at approximately Rs. 25 lakh (Twenty-Five Lakh Rupees). Swiftly acting on the findings, Kulgam Police initiated proceedings under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act, which led to the official attachment of the property.
