Due to the strike of the electricity workers, the power went off and with that the whole life came to a standstill. But this electricity did not die in Jammu and Kashmir, but in some areas, the power supply continued in many areas. But the electricity workers say that they have not switched off the electricity in any area. They are definitely on strike but they have nothing to do with the power outage. He also says that the electricity gets tripped many times due to overload and it is restored after repair. If the fault is large then it gets delayed many times and if the fault is small then the power is restored quickly. He also said that even before starting his strike, he had informed the government and the concerned officials that if the power goes off or goes off due to overload during the strike, then it will not be repaired during the strike. Now on the day of the strike itself, was the power outage in some areas a coincidence or a prank. It is very difficult to say this. But who has the answer for the troubles people had to face! If there is a strike by the electricians, then what should people pay for it? This is a big question. Every department is for the public and it is also run by the people. Employees come from the public, so if the public is in trouble, then the families of the striking employees also come under its grip. The second question is whether the demands of the employees are justified or not. It cannot be decided by the common man because it is said that the only the bearer knows where the shoe pinches. But the attitude of the government and the officials regarding the strike and the problems being faced by the people due to that was very disappointing. If the administration was already aware about the strike then it should have made proper arrangements which were not done and in today’s era where we make claims of development, many people are without electricity for more than 50 hours. and that too in this winter season. For this problem, where people would probably blame the electricians, but due to this kind of attitude of the government, people felt that the government did not care for them at all. Due to such things, the gap between the people and the government increases which surely is not good for both. If the government had taken the same action after 50 hours on the first day, perhaps this situation would not have happened.
