Weak and Scary

Is the man today becoming weak, scary and spineless? The present socio-political scenario projects the picture of the man really as a weak, scary and spineless man who has no courage to say wrong a wrong and right a right. He does not even dare to oppose the injustice and wrongdoings of the anti-social elements. Most of the men (do they deserve to be called men?), in the society have almost become silent and avoid commenting on any incident or happening. Many of the men has adopted the path of keeping himself away from any situation which arises because of injustice, high handedness or discrimination. What could be the reason behind their silence or inactiveness? Why do they ignore every wrong that is happening or being done in front of them like “Bhism Pitamah ” of ‘Mahabhaarta’? Why most of the men who had been always favoring justice, kindness to all, equality, amity and had been raising their voice forcefully against unfairness, cruelty, disparity and enmity have now decided to keep their self away from such deeds of those who don’t believe in humanity and never follow the principles of a civilized society. Is our society becoming a society of dead souls, a society of lifeless human beings, and a society of emotionless creatures? People in general not hesitate to oppose the wrong and support the right but are afraid of? No one can tell that they are afraid of what and whom and why? This may be to some extent can be judged by many happenings that occurred in the past couple of years. People have been killed on the road on the street, through mob lynching and even many were gunned down in the broad day light and nothing happened to the alleged culprits. Even police officers and men in judicial services were made silent forever without and culprits were allowed to move freely in the society. Then there is the enforcement department, various investigating agencies, and other allied agencies to suppress the voice of those who raise any question. This action may or may not be good for the society but is certainly not good for the country. What one could achieve by silencing the voice of opponents and common man is yet to be known. One thing is clear that these oppressive measures are sure to lead the nation towards anarchy and civil war.
