MUMBAI: India’s most-watched quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati returned with its 12th season this year. Looking at the current situation caused by the global pandemic, many had thought that the show will not return this year. However, a tweet by host Amitabh Bachchan left fans happy when he shared that he has started the shoot of the show. It was on September 29, 2020, when the first episode of KBC12 premiered on the television screens. Big B has returned as the host for the tenth time.
The current season has a few changes from the last one. This time around, the Audience Poll lifeline has been changed with Video Call a Friend. No live audience is allowed and only contestants’ family members can view the show live.
Today’s show started with rollover contestant Dr. Neha Shah, who wants to open her own clinic with the winning amount. On January 6’s episode, Neha used one lifeline and won Rs. 6.40.000 lakh. She started the game with Rs. 12.50.000 question today. After confidently answering the questions, Neha won Rs. 1 crore. However, she failed to answer Rs. 7 crore question.
